This is not a hotel. It is a senior RV park that has a lot of snowbirds over the winter. Many of the spots have park homes or RVs that are permanently owned. You can bring and stay in your own RV as they have many open spaces. Friends of ours own a unit and we stayed a few days. This is on the eastern outskirts of Yuma and is in a city called Fortuna Hills. It is mostly RV parks for retired and snowbird seniors. I believe they rent units to the public. It is a very nice, very well maintained park. It has two nicely heated pools, pickleball, shuffleboard, volleyball, cornhole and other sports. Has a good library that includes puzzles and dvds. Has a large multipurpose room with kitchen, pool and poker tables and frequent tournaments. Has big laundromat and many restrooms scattered around property. Safety: It is walled and isolated by freeway, very safe. Residents leave all their chairs, bikes, golf carts and stuff out night and day. Since it is a senior community, there are eyes everywhere and they know who belongs. Newcomers and strangers are quickly and friendly greeted by residents and asked where they are staying or with who. Food & drinks: No food or drinks available onsite unless at an event. Food stores and restaurants in 1 mile radius.

Wow! How accommodating can a RV resort in Yuma AZ be? Well the Caravan is everything that is not pretentious about the Yuma AZ short term vacation. After being treated like second class foreign customers, by so many Yuma resorts, we stumbled upon the Caravan. who accepted our truck and brand new 2023 Arctic Fox camper with open arms. The new management here gets it! Not everyone is a pretentious full time A class owner. Some of us snowbirds still respectfully boondock, and take part in short term urban visits. We need quality places to stay, without the usual Yuma pretentious attitudes! The Caravan is it. The Yuma chamber of commerce needs to look at what the Caravan is doing right, and what the pretentious A class only resorts are doing wrong! For example, look at Rockey Point MX. They are suffering in 2024 because of a bad reputation and the pandemic . Yuma is headed in that direction. The Caravan will thrive with its non pretentious open arms way of doing business

Did not get the site we requested the year before and ended up spending a month close to the highway- very noisy. Some improvements are nice, including the pool area, but still needs significant updating. Customer service needs improvement. No one I talked to was really interested in addressing our concerns. I have heard the new management is doing well and residents are happy with the updates thus far, but we never met or heard from the new manager.
