        As a leasee, I fell ill and was out of work for nearly a month. I am a widow, a Senior and a US Army veteran. I was a few days late on my rent due to this hardship. I communicated my hardship and am working with the VA for some support on this matter. The real estate agent was cold, unforgiving and would not give me a courtesy break for being a week late on my lease. Charging and charging more and more fees. What has this world come to?
