Relaxing park with interpretive signs depicting the areas native plants and animals. Some paths are paved and are great for safe wheelchair use. Other paths are dirt. My Mother uses a chair sometimes and it's one of our favorite places to go. Child friendly/educational There are a couple of shaded areas to sit, but the park is mostly full sun.

If you are into hiking straight up the mountain, this park is perfect for you. Mostly level and well marked trails with no obstructions. Be sure to check out the old 1963 Rambler that was washed down an arroyo. Theres a sign with an overlook from which you can see it. Saw a buck and doe while there. Excellently maintained and great exercise.

What a beautiful area to wander through. We brought our dog and walked most of the trails. The area is not secluded as you can see many homes in the area and hear the road noise at times. However the trail itself is impeccably cared for. The vegetation and wildlife signs are spread around making the trail more enjoyable for the curious hikers. The trailhead has a nice restroom and has several places to sit and enjoy the views
