Great hike from access road north of , round trip was almost 4 miles. Only steep at the petroglyphs, great for my family. Really got to feel the landscape of the Sonoran desert and the National park. Highly recommend.

Tip: go in the late afternoon for the best photos. Since the top is facing west, morning shots face the sun. Bigger tip: the parking lot was closed for construction so access trails from the main roads, there are two options, each about an easy mile hike in.

They say that this is where ancient astronauts once landed on Earth to teach prehistoric man the game of soccer. That's one translation of these petroglyphs, anyway. And they just might be right. Stay on the trail. Watch out for rattlesnakes.
