My complaint, May 11 Enter into a contract on Dec. 2 2020. Pool Construction did not start until Jan. 6 and site was not visited prior to the dig. This is when the trouble began. * TMC did not provide concrete subs with needed information, thus causing a week delay. * Tile for pool not ordered in time, thus having to pick additional tile. Went to office with Nolan, where he yelled at me to read my DAMN contract. My mom walked out. * New tile ordered by Noland, 150 tiles short, more delays. * Nolan was to order final inspection on Tuesday, May 4. Instead, get a call from Mark stating that I must install door alarms to pass inspection, however I purchased an automatic pool cover. Call Town of Marana on my behalf and they stated TMC never put in a request for final inspection. Town of Marana said they do partial inspections all the time when an automatic pool cover is purchased. * My contract ended May 1, 2021 and I need a completion date. Tired of the lack of communication TMC Response This message originally read on 6/11/2021 Ms. Rupp provided an absolutely inaccurate narrative. Ms. Rupp has a very involved, complicated pool design and construction - which she was informed would take an extended period of time to complete. Indeed, estimated completion time was more than six months from her start date. Given the conditions and circumstances of the construction industry (especially the swimming pool construction industry), delays are inevitable and material shortages are a reality, but her project was still completed within a few weeks of her estimated completion date. Ms. Rupp was rude and disrespectful to all of my personnel and crews throughout the duration of her project. She accused people of fictitious allegations (as she does above: 1. I personally visited her site prior to excavation, as did Nolan; 2. tile was not ordered late, material shortages are rampant throughout construction due to manufacturing delays related to the 2020 pandemic; 3. Nolan never yelled at her or told her to "read her damn contract"), called staff liars and other names, and was generally nasty to everyone who came in contact with her. Throughout the project, we at TMC made every attempt to maintain our professionalism and complete her project in as timely a manner as reasonably possible. And we did so - her start up date was on or about 5/24/21. Ms. Rupp has absolutely no excuse for her treatment of my team or her behavior throughout her project, and, frankly, she owes everyone a sweeping apology. She further exacerbates her poor behavior by filing this fallacious complaint and attempting to tarnish our reputation. We take our company and professional reputation very seriously and will not stand idly by while someone in our community misrepresents us as she has done. We are a family owned and operated company and we work tirelessly every day to take care of our clients and provide a superior product. We did the same for Ms. Rupp. Could not add my response to the above but be warned. Trust the reviews and do not hire his company. I trusted Michael, with the design and contract. However be warned…the contract is in their favor and not the consumers. Also, be sure to add a completion clause and hold back monies until the work is completed. As Ms. Rupp's requested remedy was project completion, she received it. Her raised pool and spa with automatic pool cover is complete and running in good working order. No further action should be required in this matter and we formally request that it be closed and expunged from any record. Service: Roadworks

We do NOT recommend that you use TMC for new construction and much less for repairs. They built our pool for roughly about $34K which we thought was a great deal for what we received at the time. About a year later, the pool company we use to complete regular maintenance on it found that they had to keep putting in salt in and alerted us that something may be wrong. After several tests were slowly conducted by TMC, it turned out that there were some cracks in the shell. Needless to say, we then waited about 3 months for it to be repaired. Mark Rogers, the owner, and his son Nolan, were consistently non-responsive to our calls and texts. It took a long time for them to get back to us and do the repairs they rightfully owed us. Once the repairs were done, the cracks were not sprayed correctly (pictured below) causing the repairs to be much darker than the rest of the pool. They told us the color would eventually fade in a year so we waited a little over a year. They came back to see if the acid wash would help fade the color and it did nothing to alleviate the very visible repairs. Their response was that there was nothing more that could be done. This is obviously unacceptable and we will be seeking help through the ROC and if needed we will take legal action. Please do yourself a favor and do not use this business to build your new pool or do any repairs. They're unprofessional and do not care about providing quality service to their paying customers. We paid for our pool in cash and they never had to hassle with us for payment yet they did not deliver on their end. Businesses like these should not be in business and take people's money without providing their end of the deal. To them, 34K may not be a lot of money, but for us it was a huge investment and it is absolutely intolerable that they're treating us like second class citizens. Shame on them.
