While the shoes are pricey, I feel like they have good quality options and they have a lot of choices for unique foot problems situations that are hard to find solutions to at normal shoe stores. I have been helped by multiple customer service representatives over the years and they have each been wonderful, most recently Ive been helped by Chris the last few times and he has done a wonderful job taking whatever time was needed to help me and my family get the shoes we needed.

The store was fairly busy when we arrived to buy Birkenstock shoes for my sister. We picked out two styles she wanted to try. Eventually Trevor offered to help her. As a result of her MS and a brain injury, she is easily confused and indecisive. Trevor was both patient and kind as she tried on different shoes and tried to remember one from another. Patience is probably the best attribute of a she salesperson, and Trevor was excellent.

Sara was so patient and helpful. I had only vague ideas about what I needed in a walking shoe for our European trip next summer, and she continued to bring out stacks of boxes, to give me many ideas to choose from. I finally selected a sturdy /lightweight sneaker, plus an ankle boot that will be a little dressier when needed. Both are super-lightweight. Alans has a tremendous selection of high quality shoes. Im so glad I heard about this store from a friend!

I visited this store hoping to find Hoka walking shoes that my son and daughter-in-law had recommended I buy for the great comfort they provide. After entering the store I was quickly greeted by Sarah. She measured and evaluated my foot size and discussed the options the store carried in the Hoka line, bringing shoes out to try. It was a delight being assisted by Sarah who I found to be personable, friendly and very knowledgeable in helping me try on shoes. She checked carefully each pair I was interested in after they were on my feet to make sure they were the best fit. I have to say that it was a whole different experience shopping here as the past number of years I have usually shopped at shoe stores without any sales person assistance. I left happily with a pair of Hokas. Sarah even offered my husband and I bottles of cold water to take with us. I believe I have now found the shoe store I want to frequent for my shoe purchases. I even saw some handbags I might also consider purchasing in the future. I look forward to stopping at Allans in the future and hope to have Sarahs help again. Thanks for a great experience!
