Barbara is a great crew chief, communicative and encouraging to her team. You are in good hands with this local company. The fascia/soffit has a clean white look to it again. They swarmed it and got it all done in a day, and beat four other estimates.

Here's a strong recommendation for a great paint contractor. Your Tucson Painter just finished the exterior of our home in Rancho Vistoso (Oro Valley), in which we changed colors to one of the alternate schemes approved by the HOA. We chose them and paid a deposit a few months ago, waiting for our roof to be redone first. As quickly as that was nearing completion, I called YTP to let them know and they followed a week later. Start to finish the project took about 2 weeks, mostly because of some uncertain monsoon weather that idled them for most of the first week. The crew was excellent, did a few extra things we asked for cheerfully, did walk-throughs of areas to ensure we were happy, cleaned up after themselves every day, and most of all the result is really great. They are now painting and patching some interior ceilings that were damaged by the leaky roof, and with luck that will be complete in 1 day. I hired JD to paint the exterior of my house. He was very professional and affordable. The crew did a nice job and was quick to attend to any touch ups I noticed. They also did a nice job of clean up when completed. I usually dread the idea of painting my house, but JD and his crew made my latest experience easy and pleasant. He and his crew arrived when he said they would and finished the job within the timeframe I asked for. He also charged me what he quoted, which is very refreshing. I will use this company again for any future painting needs.

JD made a great impression so was hired to paint a single story 1900 sq ft home on 5/15/19. He had two guys come out to prep and paint. I didn't like that my sidewalk was not covered when painting the entry way, which left paint drops on the sidewalk. I also didn't appreciate them painting over many of my bushes next to the house, which I later cut back. After painters finished, JD did not do a walk around and only went to the issues that I had noticed. JD seemed annoyed that I was pointing out issues that were not to my satisfaction. The front door was painted with a sprayer but the edge was painted with a brush and looked bad, along with the splatter on the door. JD did not say anything about it when I brought it up to his attention. When called to have them redo the door he did not return my call. I called him back a few days later to follow up and he told me they would be out 5 days later, 9 days from original paint day. When painters arrived to redo door, I removed the door from hinges and placed it in my garage. The guys were having issues with the sprayer and it sprayed red paint on the inside wall of my garage and garage door. When AL finished the repaint of the door, he said, "People don't look at their door that closely, if you're still not happy call JD for a credit". That told me he was done. It was a smoother job but still had some splatter. As the painters were repainting the white wall from the red splatter, I stepped inside for 20 min or so. When I returned to see how things were going they had already packed up and left. JD has yet to call me about the repaint on the door or ask about the garage. I have accepted the job, but I am unsatisfied. A month later I am still finding stucco not painted, I guess I have to do it myself.

Jim did a beautiful job repainting the inside of my home. He was professional and very knowledgeable about preparing the walls for painting. He moved and protected my furniture and floors. The job was completed without splatters or drips.
