I just had the best experience ever with Dr. Tetrault. He was so incredibly kind and thoroughly explained exactly what was happening with a very bad eye infection I had. He also quickly took me in, examined and got me out as quick as possible. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Tetrault is very good and professional, however the office staff does a poor job (particularly 1 person there in charge of scheduling and ordering contacts). She is slow, always makes mistakes and I've had a number of issues as a result of the reception staff there. If you have other options, try seeing someone else at another Alvernon Optical location.

The optometrist scolded me because he said I was wearing my contacts too long. I ordered 4 new boxes. I told him that I was going to be traveling for the next 30 days and asked if he could give me two trial pairs. He said no because he thought I would abuse them. WTF? As a result I had to wear the same pair of contacts for 30 days, which is exactly what he said he didn't want me to do. Not sure if he's really a cranky vindictive old guy or if he's just not a very clear thinker, but I definitely won't be going back.
