I was told by Karen I didn't qualify for a home because my income wasn't close to $4,000. I looked on the website to see if there was any available properties in my price range today and it says that income eligibility is 2.5 times the rent. I did qualify for the unit. I was discriminated against. I made more than enough. I was never referred to an application. I was just told I didn't qualify. On top of that I didn't even need to have an income if I had set amount in my bank account. Anyone else have such an experience with this non for profit.

These people are a waste of your money and time. They claim to offer housing assistance to low income families needing assistance however their requirements will never allow for you to get a home from them. They keep your money after they don't qualify you...and remember your low income so that application fee was probably something you could of used to feed your family. They're supposed to assist low income families but they don't. Keeping my application fee after denying me for having student loans (that were in good standing) that made my debt to income ratio high was complete robbery. I have good rental history, just in this situation because of the pandemic markey. I hope you all sleep very well at night taling money from low income families who need their money just to deny them and not offer any help. Your company, and all these rental agency companies should be exposed by the better business bureau. You are scammers!!!
