We went here for my birthday dinner. It was a Wednesay around 7.45 pm and the place wasn't busy. The table we sat at had a light pointing right at my face so we asked the girl (who brought the water) if we can switch (no big deal right?). She said "sure, go ahead. I'll let them know". So we happily went to a corner table where there was not too much light and waited. Few minutes later, a manger came to us and asked why we moved. I explained the light situation and he told me not to change seats without checking with a manger next time. I was so confused, and reiterated the fact I did ask from the girl. He said I should have asked from him, not the buzzer. Wow! We sat there in confusion and humiliation because the people at the next table heard it too. It sounded like I did something terrble. Little bit later I went up to him, as I wanted to ask if someone had reserved that table and if we should move elsewhere. He started an argument and never let it go for a good 10 minutes or so. As he was raising his voice he kept telling me "I am not raising my voice". I was trying to understand what's the big deal was when there was at least 10-12 empty tables at the restaurant. Some servers witnessed this argument and stayed silent. Some customers heard it too. He humiliated me and when I said my birthday is now ruined and we are just going to leave, he said " yes, you can leave". I asked for his name and he said it's Eric. My son was so sweet to take me out for dinner that night as my husband was out of the country. I didn't want to hurt his feelings and it was already close to 8.30pm by this time, so we stayed. As any of you understand, both of us couldn't enjoy that dinner even though it was expensive. Later they sent a piece of chocolate cake on the house. Of course, you can try to put together a broken glass but it will never be the same. Shame on you for talking to a woman, a customer or any human being the way you did. You should not be in customer service let alone being a manager. Never again King Fisher!

We live out of town now and always try to visit when we are in town. Met friends and 3 of the 4 of us had dry overcooked fish. Our friend ordered oysters and they forgot to bring it until we mentioned it. It finally came a few minutes before our entrees arrived. The brocolini was almost cold, the cheese on the potatoes was so hard you couldn't cut thru it and had no flavor. We all are repeat customers and very surprised at the lack of quality. We told the waiter our thoughts, but feel it was brushed off.

This place is great for seafood and tasty cocktails! It's on the fancy side so for my budget it's like special occasion. Arlo the busser was incredible! Now that is some serious style, considerate and well tempered service right there! I had the sea bass and it was really good and Kate had the salmon which was probably even better! Our elders gravitated toward the fish and chips and their leftovers were very tasty!
