They do a quick intake, eval, and then they're done and the person is out. There is no help with finding resources or a possible solution, only pamphlets that have no help as well. The only thing this place does is waste everyone's time.

Thankyou for the display of excellent team work with my visit at the CENTER THIS MORNING. I know my loved one will get the attention and care he needs to return to a normal status. From the gentleman at security, to the lady at the front desk and the team in the application dept, I felt at ease and my needs were met. And to HOUSE CLEANING STAFF! A spotless atmosphere is what they do as well as maintain an infection free atmosphere. THANKYOU!!!!

The last time I was here in high school as a minor I was admitted close to 10pm I had my head on the table because I had a headache from crying so much. A male tech came in close to 3am to go over the questions to see if you will be admitted overnight. I refused to lift my head per his request and he told me if youre going to be this way you shouldve just done it. Yes, as in THAT. The whole reason I was being admitted. I lashed out and the tech said it was because I didnt lift my head and that wad rude. So yeah I hurt that techs feelings by keeping my head on the table so that grown man felt the need to tell me I shouldve went through with my plan. The other workers did not let me report this incident to my guardian and I was admitted and later transferring to another facility. Ridiculous excuse of a crisis center. If you admit your kids call them daily. Some of these techs should not be working here. This experience still resonates with me as an adult. Hope that male tech was fired.

This is the most screwed up experience I think I've had with ANY establishment in any category. I called the CRC and basically needed someone to talk to as I was depressed. My family are all on vacation...So they came to the conclusion that they would send some people to talk to. I think I was there within 5 minutes of them arriving and they had already called the sheriff. As soon as I approached them they told me that they would call the sheriff back to give them a minute to call back and tell them that I was okay, not to come and I spoke with them for 20ish minutes and all was good they determined. They left, and a little while later I realized that I had left something in my car out front and as I'm checking in my car about 4 or 5 pima county sheriff's pulled up I explained that I was fine and have 6 big dogs that I'm caring for at my Mom's house because they are on vacation and between us we have 6. They were fairly nice but said that since they had been called that they had no choice but to take me to the CRC despite the people that I spoke to telling the sheriff that I was fine. So I get there and didn't receive my medication which I could literally die from missing. They refused to let me go to the hospital, the night nurse and doctor were a joke, and they told me that they couldn't provide a cpap for me so I explained how important it was that i needed to go to the hospital and they refused and were very rude. I have a heart condition that requires that I ALWAYS need to take my meds as scheduled and wear a cpap whenever I sleep. Now I'm in Afib and have to wait for 30 days taking my medication religiously so that I can have surgery to restore my heart rhythm because my cardiologist won't approve it if I've missed a dose in the last 30 days. I was released the next morning and the staff was totally different and respectful. Shout out to Rudy specifically, he was the first person to treat my like a human being. I'm personally a BHT and know when I need to seek help and this was not the occasion. And my ride there consisted of me hitting my head multiple times because the seat belt didn't fit because I'm fat haha. So the sheriff said he'd drive extra slow and carefully, and proceeded to speed the whole time in the fast lane, braked erratically, and made turns way too quickly. Thank you if you read this, if you're in crisis this is the last place I'd choose, and there are a lot of crappy places in Tucson, knowing this from personal needs, and employment.
