These people will rip you off! My husband had ALS and he paid $25,000 ( yes that is thousands!) for his chair. He had it less then 3 yrs. Was still in great condition and they told us they would buy it back. BUT GUESS WHAT??? They were only going to give me less then $1,000 (yes that is only ONE thousand) for it!!! Of course they would RE-SELL it for over $20,000!!! What they do is pathetic and taking advantage over elderly or health challenged people!! To me that is just sick. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!

I know every other experience on the Redman review board is a 5 but unfortunately Im on the other end. I contacted Redman about a chair and everything seemed to be running smoothly. Had a rep bring one by the house and fitted me for the chair. So a few days go by and Im contacted about the price and the steps needed to proceed through the doctor and PT. I sendin my paper work and figure there would be a wait. After sometime I call and the response was we are sorry we cant find your file. Thats ok so I resend the info. Again sometime passes and nothing. So one day out of the blue I get a call and the lady proceeds to tell me how sorry they were because they couldnt find my files and that to show me their true intentions that they were gonna send me a new discounted quote. Sure enough I received the quote which was discounted by 10000. Which is a lot considering the cost of the chair. The quote also had my insurance amount that would be paid. Then the balance I would owe. Threw discussion Redman already was aware that I would have to make payments to them. So on this quote they ask if I could swing 300 a month. I then replied I could do 200. At that point the response from Redman was that is perfect. The very next day Redman calls and tells me there could be an issue and they would get back with me. Well time passes and then after little over a month I call back. What do I hear again? We cant find your file can we call you tomorrow. So tomorrow comes and I receive an email saying we will contact you Monday. So Monday comes and no call so I decided to call. The lady Im dealing with answers and then tells me shell call me back. In 20 minutes she calls with another lady. They inform me that they have to order sheets with different info on them without the reps name. They ask if I was fitted once or twice. I tell them once. Next they inform me other than the two fit orders and the emails with the discounted quote with the monthly payments on it theyve miss placed all my other file information. At this point the second lady on the phone informs me they cant honor that quote or monthly payments. She informs me now that its either $500 a month or nothing. At that point I sit very quietly with tears in my eyes. I have been dealing with these people for about a year. My current power chair just completely died and they have so little care that they in all intense purposes say sorry but that Its all Redmans fault but sorry we cant help you. No care to them but now I have a dead power chair and no new chair coming. I now have to go somewhere else and start this process over. My chair is unusable now. My advice is to be careful. Im sure the chair is a great product. But please dont let them get you into my situation. People just dont understand that misleading you like this completely stops your life. It completely has me home bound. Shame on you Redman

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Redman Chair Repair. I am new to Tucson and I needed some work done on my older model power chair. Sam Redman was so nice and accommodating, he came to my home the same day I called. After evaluating my chair, the cost of repairs and my current needs he recommended a new chair. I was given the opportunity to test drive a lightly used model that I fell in love with but that needed modified for the perfect fit. I gave Sam a wish list of what would be the perfect chair and he was able to modify the new/used chair to my specific needs at a very reasonable price. Throughout the process Sam was a delight to work with. I have been a power chair user for 7 years and this is the first time Ive felt like I no longer need to worry about what I would do if my chair quits working, now I know Ill give Sam a call!
