The staff working at the office don't know what they are doing! The scheduling process is a pure disaster! They do not respect patients' time and make changes to our appointment erratically without letting us know! My child had an appointment with Dr. Ledger on April 2nd at 9:40 am. Someone in her office called my husband at about 4pm on April 1st, saying that she would not be available the next morning and had to reschedule us. I do understand that the doctor may have something coming up and she cannot be in office at that time. It is okay, but for rescheudling they didn't allow us any options--they only gave us a 1:20pm time slot on April 2nd. Please note that we scheduled this appointment in January, and her office cancelled it at the very last minute and did not provide more available time slots for us to reschedule! My husband, who was out of town, had to say yes we'll take the appointment. When he let me know this change in appointment, I called her office immediately (at 4:40pm on the same day) because I have a meeting at work that's in conflict with the 1:20pm appointment. The office said the next earliest available appointment would be on April 19, 9:45 am, which is more than two weeks after our original appointment. So I left a message to her nurse to see if Dr. Legler could possibly open up more availbilities in recent days. Then I kept the appiontment on the 2nd, and booked the time on April 19th just in case (if I can reschedule my meeting, I can bring my kid to the April 2nd appointment; otherwise we'll go to the April 19th appointment). The nurse called my back at 8:15 AM on April 2nd, and said no. Therefore, I told her that I'll keep our appointment on April 2nd. She clearly confirmed my choice and said "I'll see you today". Later, I received a text message that confirmed my kid's appointment was schedule on April 19th. I was so confused and called the office. They said that the appointment was indeed scheduled for April 19th, not the 2nd! I was very confused, and the front desk called the nurse, and finally moved the appointment back to the 2nd. So this process is just tiring and confusing. It involves so many last minutes changes and errors on their ends. It is not our fault that our original appointment was cancelled at the very last minute, and all the communications involved in this rescheudling process makes me so disappointed with Banner!
