This is my first time using a minute key vending machine, and overall I'm happy with the results and value. I was a little surprised that the price per key was more than the price at major hardware store chains. Even when I got the discount for buying three keys, it was only a little bit cheaper than what the hardware stores charge. I was disappointed that it had to be three of the same key rather than having the option to mix and match. I would have liked to make two copies of my house key and one copy of a padlock key to count as my three key purchase. The keys themselves work in most of my locks, but in one of them, it won't turn the lock at all, whereas my older keys work fine in that same lock. I get the sense that the grinding brush should have sanded down the edges a bit more after cutting the key. It seems too rigid in the lock. Overall, I would probably use it again because of the convenience and reasonable cost. But I might go to a hardware store instead, so that if I have a problem it would be easy to bring it back and talk to a human about it.

Reasonable prices and several key style options. Pretty quick and an intuitive self service system. Had a buy 2 get one free deal, so 3 keys for $6+tax.
