I worked an "in-between" job here for a few months in event and conference managment. Terrible job for me, personally, but it had a really nice mid-size conference center and event space. My coworkers and direct managers were ok, I guess. The hotel, at the time, was very run down, but It did have a nice courtyard with a pool and various seating areas. It's best attribiutes at that time were it's conference center and it's proximity to the TMC hospital.

Room was nicer than the entry way and grounds. it was surprisingly quiet, but that might have been determined by occupancy. this hotel is deep in Tucson. for those needing access to the Univerity, it is a good location, but if you need access to go north or south of Tucson, you will be on surface streets for 15 minutes. i should have paid better attention. LIssa in the breakfast area was great, and breakfast was well stocked. front desk staff is not trained in strong customer service and is unable to help with requests, so you have to wait for a manager. my concern was not addressed because there was not a manager available and i needed to get on the road. this significantly impacted my stay. super dog friendly, lots of dogs.

A disappointing stay. Outdated lobby & amenities. Our room was near the pool entrance and the gate slamming open/close was noisily clanging. The wifi wasnt working, poolside towels were unavailable, the outlets between the beds wouldn't hold a plug-in and 1/2 the USBs didn't work, TVs did not receive local channels, and there were no liners in the trash cans. Questionably clean. We found a toothbrush left in the trash can. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety similar to other chain hotels.

Really great place and I would have given 5 stars except for the club/ lounge facilities and the free breakfast. As a Platinum Elite member I had access to the lounge but it was very poor. They advertised beer & wine for the evening and breakfast for the morning but neither was available during our six night stay. If you're not going to provide it, don't advertise it with signage in the lounge. Very disappointing. The lounge did have snacks but they were not refreshed and dwindled during our entire stay. The complimentary breakfast at the restaurant was nice but it would have been better if bacon was offered consistently. We only had it one morning during our stay. The service staff was excellent however and are to be commended on their professionalism and friendliness. Nice people. Rooms: Very nice rooms.

Well run hotel. You will be satisfied. You should put a microwave in the concierge lounge as a courtesy to your elite members to heat up leftovers from your great restaurant.
