This is such an easy review to write. My brother and I were fortunate enough to have had both of our parents on at home hospice through Soulistic. Each of our parents had different needs and the care that was given to them was tailor made. The beauty of being able to keep them in their beloved home for this last chapter in life was simply immeasurable. Because of the care given by each and every person working for Soulistic, both of our parents outlived their, 'expiration dates'! My father was actually in their care for almost two years. Weekly visits by their incredible nursing staff and home health aids - were critical and I truly feel each of these souls are angels. The have a gift that few could ever share - but they did, and they do, on a daily basis. With Dr. Nelson Sandoval at the helm, this company is on the right track and we cannot thank them enough.

I wish I could give a higher rating because the staff was so wonderful and compassionate! Just how I would expect hospice nurses to be. Myself being an RN and doing end of life care and hospice inpatient I really hesitated to have to write this but hopefully the company can learn from this. June 2023 my dad went home from the hospital rather quickly and with the exception of not making it more than a week. He was awake and oriented til the very end. The 1st 24 hrs home his meds for pain and anxiety were not coordinated properly and he went without. He did have medical supplies on arrival and the nurse showed up as expected. We were given an emergency med box and were told what was inside and when to use. Well a week later at 3 am my dad started to transition and he suffered unnecessarily. A nurse came as quick as she could and I was guided on what to do but that emergency med box had nothing what we expected. Only a suppository for constipation and nausea. While my dad was struggling and obviously scared the nurse was calling the doctor. His meds he had didnt match with what was ordered, no emergency meds on hand. It was very very sad and scary for my family to witness and definitely not how a patient on hospice should pass. I was incredibly upset and frustrated with the whole situation as my dad was with it til he finally lost consciousness and passed a few minutes after. I would hope administrators see this and never let this happen to another of their patients again because it is not how a hospice patient should have passed.

I interviewed multiple hospice services in Tucson; Soulistic Hospice stood out as the only one capable of meeting my mom's needs. They differentiate themselves by working as a team, treating patients as individuals, and offering a holistic approach to end-of-life care. From the intake team to nurses and counselors, they are highly skilled, compassionate, and responsive to patient and family needs. They are true earth angels, and I am grateful for their support in such a difficult time.

Soulistic Hospice came into our lives when we didn't even know we needed them. Hospice can bring up all things that no one wants to talk about. Soulistic was introduced to our family at just the right time. Every care taker that came to our house to help with our Dad was the best person. The Nurses and the Nurse's aide made our Dad the most important person. They took the burden off of me and guided me with every turn. It was a blessing to have them and the care they gave our Dad was so tender and complete. You have no idea on the items you need or procedures that are involved and they take care of everything. It was a huge saving grace. If you are at a crossroads debating on extra care, please give them a call. Their approach is gentle and their knowledge is vast.
