Casa De La Luz Hospice At The Hacienda

My husband spent the last week of his life at Casa. They made him very comfortable his last days. I am very grateful for the staff and nurses for making his last days comfortable. The best place for end of life care.

My dad spent his last three days with Casa. He was a WWII veteran, and they performed a ceremony of thanks and appreciation for his service to our country, and gifted him with an American Flag blanket. He was aware of the ceremony and although he was unable to speak, he expressed his great appreciation for the care he received. The harpist was unbelievable. The beautiful, calming music brought tears to my and my sister's eyes as we shared his final hours in this life. My mother had passed little more than a month before, and I know she was offering her hand to him to join her in heaven...so beautiful! A huge thank you to all the doctors and staff at Casa de la Luz!!

I cannot begin to express how grateful my siblings and I are to everyone at Casa Hospice at The Hacienda. Our father was there for the last 6 days of his life. The entire staff, from the hospice doctor to the chaplains, were just amazing. The nurses and nursing assistants were caring, gentle and showed so much kindness to him. It still brings tears to my eyes to remember the dignity he was shown by everyone who cared for him. It was a very difficult time for my sisters, brother and me, but everyone at the hospice continually checked to see how WE were doing. We have even had follow up calls from the chaplain to see if she can help in any way. A truly incredible organization.
