I still love Big Lots items but the manager was walking around talking down to different employees - belittling them with language unbecoming of what's supposed to be a leader. No wonder the employees look sad or mad. I feel bad for the employees.

And the award for Tucson's Most Judgemental, Unfriendly Staff goes to......Big Lots! Seriously, I walk in, set my book bag down at the front without being prompted, and immediately got the overhead "Security, TPD is on line such n such." For those who don't know, it's a passive aggressive threat along the lines of "Security scan isle ." I get it. I look the part some days despite trying my damnest not to. But, there's no harm in holding judgement for a few mins and feel a person out. Or, how bout when you're stalking said criminal mastermind through your isles and give em the ole fake as a snackcake "is there something specific you're looking for", maybe judge em by their response. Crazy I know. As I've said before, kindness doesn't cost you a thing. And I'm really sick of you people sending my wife from your store bawling her eyes out for making her feel inferior. Remember, you're only a lil mistake, or missed paycheck away from being in our situation. Guess what, if that happens, we'll gladly give ya the shirt off our back if you need it, regardless of how you may have treated us in the past.
