Grant Road Dentistry

This poor review isn't in regards to the dentist as I didn't have any work done by him, but rather because of the hygienist (Tracy). The dentist suggested a cleaning that's "somewhere between a regular and a deep cleaning" as I did not get my teeth professionally cleaned in a few years. I'm pretty positive a regular cleaning would have been fine as I do not have any gum disease and never had. I floss multiple times a day and brush at least once daily. I proceeded regardless. Even before she started, she brought up how her patient from the previous day was displeased with her cleaning and I believe she said that the person might have left without finishing the cleaning if I remember correctly. This should have been a hint for me. Tracy was very rough on my teeth, never had a cleaning this rough, but then again, I only had regular cleanings in the past so was not sure if this was normal. It felt as if she was drilling my teeth at times, rather than scraping off the plaque with the ultrasonic scaler. I don't know if she was using the scaler at the wrong angle or what. After a rough session, I noticed the next day that she didn't even properly clean the plaque from between the front bottom teeth where practically all of the visible plaque was located, see photo.

Grant Road Dentistry provided me with an amazing dental experience. Everyone from Dr Kun and all the staff were kind, considerate and easy to work with. From the beginning of my treatment, Dr Kun made me feel comfortable with all his procedures with everything from explaining in full detail every step of the way to being extremely gentle and efficient thru each process. Everything was done in a timely manner. Appointments were easy to schedule. Grant Road Dentistry has completely eliminated any anxiety of going to the dentist. Would highly recommend Dr Richard Kun. Excellent dentist and staff!

Took forever for a simple cleaning. Staff wanted to cancel my cleaning when I said I didnt want the fluoride rinse.

I just loved my visit to get my teeth cleaned !! All the staff is great and treat you nicely !! And then to know Tracy my new Dental Hygienist is super !! Thanks again !! Great cleaning !! And yes I will start flossing more often !! Janet
