Both my children have now had their wisdom teeth removed at AZOMS. Two years ago my son's procedure went through without any problems or concerns. My daughter's on the other hand has been very questionable. Since the moment we walked into the office the feeling of the front office personnel was not at all welcoming. She had some difficulty being put under and coming out of anesthesia is what I was told but when I asked if I could go back to be with her they denied me. When I parked in the area to wait for her to come out they had her walking instead of in a wheelchair like my son 2yrs earlier. She was stumbling a a bit as they walked her to the car. BUT the "icing" on the cake as they say is them instructing me to leave the gauze in her mouth for 30min and then remove it or replace it. As I drove her home she was dripping with blood and started to gag on the blood filling up in her mouth. I thankfully had tissue in the car she used. I get home thinking this gauze must be soaking and needs replacing! Only to find she had NO gauze in her mouth what so ever! Needless to say I was very upset at the negligence of this experience. I called them to let them know only to get a disingenuous response. The person who took my complaint said, " I'm sorry I will tell the technician" and I never heard anything after that. I can only hope this was a one time occurrence but if not that they were truly informed and make sure it doesn't happen again. Something for future patients to look for.

I have not seen them yet but the response I received just about me asking about the sweepstakes was very positive. I had all my teeth ground down to pointed stubs by a bad dentist and he ground them down so much that all my crowns have been failing by Oracle Modern. It has been hell. I know this company has had a sweepstakes in the past and they called back right away and we're very responsive! I pray they have the sweepstakes again because I never leave the house anymore. It has been really life changing and I at times feel like there is nothing left to live for. I hope they can help me. I have only heard good things about them.

My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed here, the office called the day after to check in and every staff member was kind, well informed, and attentive. I definitely recommend this office! (Tanque Verde location)

Secrataries are practicing outside of their scope of practice and well above their education, training, and level of expertise. Even with a referral from my primary doctor and a specialist, I was denied by the "office manager" for lack of insurance coverage, because I "need a referral", event after my instance to speak to a doctor, I read denied. She told me to go to a different (bless her heart, she doesn't have to know the difference) but same exact specialty I've already been seen by and referred to this office by. Little does she know, that I know (since it's only my educational degree and background), that she is just too tired to do the extra two steps needed to assist a patient in receiving their medicine deemed necessary treatment at your office. All I can say is, she's illegally refusing services to a patient who's need is MEDICALLY NECESSARY AS DEEMED BY A MEDICAL DOCTOR AND HAS THE INSURANCE COVERAGE AND PRIOR AUTHORIZATION NEEDED, and still decided in her UNQUALIFIED self that the insurance I have, though they accept it, will need "A" referral first... Excuse me for me continued ebonics, but y'all got TWO referrals from qualified physicians on my behalf, and that's still NOT ENOUGH for either your office secretary, or office manager to schedule a CONSULTATION....? I'm curious further, does CMS even sound familiar to your office, or is that not a legal entity your office manager is familiar with? If she doesn't know them, y'all should find a new office manager, cuz even too-lowly-with-TWO-MEDICALLY-NECESSARY-AS-DEEMED-BY-TWO-CMS-COMPLIANT-PHYSICIAN'S-REFERRALS, Me, is still without a consultation appointment for Medically Necessary AND Multiple Physician Initiated Required treatment at your office. Even I know she's wrong for Not even connecting my call to the physician because of the inconvenience it brings to her to bill my insurance, not even the hippocratic oath of doctors' is something she has to be aware of, again, being outside of her scope of legal practice, but still she ignores her own responsibilities to the law and her position. When I asked her if y'all accepted my insurance and she said, "Yes, but. .." and that was where she made her biggest mistake... No, I meet the needs, now you get to follow through according to the binding laws you've agreed to in exchange for payment, that's the Law, that's your legal agreement. The response I've received from your office secretary and additionally the office manager is in numerous violations of current CMS law, instead of compliance. Your office has my information, and now the entire Internet does as well, so please reach out to me directly if you feel that I am right or wrong about your office practices, and please know that I have kept better records than your office manager does about the standards of insurance you accept. I also know that if you accept my insurance AT ALL, your office is in violation and every person who also has my insurance should be FOREwarned before attempting to seek treatment here. Also, the OIG should be notified about your non-compliance so that your office can be removed from the list of approved providers for such coverage and your contract terminated with CMS. CMS also should be notified as your front office staff is providing medical opinion prior to services even outside of their scope of practice. Please adhere to your binding agreements with my insurance provider (Medicaid) and at the very least, thing your office staff of their scope of practice and job duties. Please schedule the consultation for my medically necessary services. Thank you for your time and consideration.
