La Petite Academy on N. Sarnoff

Simple check-in and check-out systems, offers video access via an easy app, very responsive via phone and email, and my two toddlers seem to love it. Additionally, they've been amazing about my 3.5yr old who's having a hard time with potty-training, whereas other daycare options told us he'd have to wait until he's fully trained to attend.

Worked here for about a year and half. Terrible, overpriced day care. They were constantly low on diapers, staff were always unhappy and there was quick turnover, and management (from Dee, the director of this location, to the executives) were rude to the staff and ignored real issues. I was threatened by a parent, have been bit and hit several times and cursed at by school age children, and none of those issues were dealt with; the child and family would come right back the next day like nothing happened. I felt the worst for the positive school age children that came here. They stayed in one room the entire time they were there, the activities and equipment were not adequate for them, and their needs were consistently ignored.

I believe Alysha should be the director because Dee's temperament is hard to predict. She can be nicest person, the rudest person, or even give you the silent treatment. They were struggling to hire teachers in January 2022, and Dee told me, verbatim, "nobody wants to work theses days!" On that day, I left the building and started to look for another center to take my child. I've caught Ms. Heather yelling at kids multiple times, and Ms. Monica rolls more eyes than any teenager I have met. Mr. Glenn, Ms. Jade, and Alysha were AMAZING, and the only reason we stayed with the school as long as we did. I would go to any other center any of them move in the future.

The best La Petite location in Tucson. The only disadvantage was that there were several times when my son told me that he was being hit by other kids. On the other hand, the Principal Ms. Dee was responsive. I have to admit that they really prepare your kids for the Kindergarten. They taught my child of how to write his name, the numbers, shapes..etc. They truly educate your child and follow the curriculum. Very good preschool.
