Ikes Coffee and Tea

10 years ago this place was great. I would go to the library then eat lunch here or get a coffee. Prices were reasonable ($5 per sandwich) and the customer service was actually good. The last few years, the customer has gone down significantly. The women working there arent very friendly and they hate picking up the phone to take orders. They always get something wrong and if I use Uber Eats or any other service for take out, they get it done but not without them being rude about it. It seems everyone there hates people and hates working there, knowing very well their job is focused on customer service.

If Im being charged $10 for an iced latte, I would expect the barista to at least brew the espresso fresh. Not give me some old espresso that has been sitting on the counter for who-knows-how-long. Espresso starts turning immediately after it is brewed, you have about 15 seconds to save it before it is bitter and stale.

Beautiful and cozy corner spot for a fresh & tasty breakfast or lunch. 10/10 would recommend. I ate the CBA & prickly pear iced tea.
