Absolutely lovely. Easygoing hosts knowledgeable about the area. Fantastic, downright inventive breakfasts. Beautiful house, nice details everywhere, and with lots of bird feeders, great birdwatching before you even go outside. Fancy shower in Mica room. Just an absolute pleasure to be there. A real warm, human-feeling bed and breakfast in this increasingly cold inhuman world. New retirement goal for me I dare say.

What a great place to stay! My wife and I were in town for a wedding and the wedding party recommended this bed & breakfast. The hosts, John and Steffi, were so friendly and helpful! Our room was clean and perfect for our needs. Johns breakfast was amazing! We would absolutely stay here again!

John and Steffi are seriously the most kind and compassionate people I have ever met. My boyfriend and I just recently stayed at Desert Trails Bed and Breakfast and we fell completely in love with the place. Johns breakfast each morning was amazing, we couldnt get over how great the food was. We stayed in the Spud Rock room which has its own huge Saguaro outside the sliding glass door. Desert Trails became a home away from home for us and we appreciate John and Steffi so much. We are already planning our next vacation to come back some time next year!! Nearby activities: Tons of hiking and outdoor activities Safety: Very safe area

Just stayed for few days. Great place, wonderful hosts  and dynamite breakfasts!Nice and quiet in E tucson, convenient to Saguaro National Park for hiking etc.Did I say helpful hosts?
