This company is not a company that believes in Customer Service or Relation. This is including Tech, Salesmen and Office Staff. I would differently not use them because the proposal was for 14 seer air conditioner and they put in a 13 seer. I have 2 free service calls on the units but I will have another individual overlook the service. If I were to buy another A/C - Heater for $12,000. I would use Rite Way a very honest and professional company. I would go with no stars but it will not except my review.

I will not use this company again. They did not diagnose the problem correctly.. They would have had me and my family without AC for a minimum of 3 days in 100+ degree weather. They had me convinced that my compressor was bad when it was a bad capicitor, even after assuring me that it wasn't the capacitor. Not sure if they are incompetent or criminal. Good thing I got a second opinion. Chas Robert's came out, diagnosed the problem and repaired it within minutes. AC is working perfectly now and cost to repair was reasonable. I do not trust Chandler with Ambient and I almost never leave negative reviews, but I do not want them taking advantage of anyone else. Service: A/C system maintenance

Chandler is a liar but the installation services were wonderful. We were setup with Ambient Air by our American Home Sheild coverage. Ambient sent over their technician, Chandler, who is more like a stumbling sales person. Chandler inspected our HVAC unit after the AC unit we called about. He informed us that the unit we called on was working perfectly(this was after I push started the fan motor to get it working again) Because it was working and the coverage requires a visible failure to get serviced, he looked at the HVAC unit on the back of the house instead. He then dropped the perverbial bomb when he told us that the HVAC unit was failing and there were two serious issues with it, beyond age of course. Those two issues, a bad pump and soon to be failing condenser, would require roughly three weeks to get the parts for and $2500 out of pocket He then mentioned the benefits of replacing the unit but we were still mulling the $2500 as a "fairly inexpensive" fix, especially when we learned the $10,000+ cost to replace. Chandler then turned into the sales person by mentioning our "cash in lieu" option of our coverage. He told us so many wonderful things about that option, including that they NEVER give less than 30% of the cost of replacement back, but by choosing this option we would be giving up AHS coverage on it for the next year. The other big and important rule he mentioned is that we must have the unit replaced before taking advantage of the cash in lue buyout and to never contact AHS before the replacement was complete. With the idea that we would be getting no less than the 30% back(and up to 70%, another Chandler quote) of the $11,000, we chose the replacement option. The choice we made was based on the difference in price to replace ($7700 with the claimed 30% guarantee) to the $2500 to fix and wait two to three weeks more with almost no AC during a record breaking summer. A much faster option and only $5,000 more for a new unit?! Deal! We're now at two weeks after the installation, which was done efficiently, and we've heard back from American Home Sheild with the "never less than 30%" $900 offer. We've spoken with both AHS and Ambient and it's become very clear that Chandler was speaking out of his rear end when he made his guarantees as to reimbursement. Who will be held accountable, AHS?...Ambient?....no, it's the hard working customer, bamboozled into believing their hype. Thanks for very very little, Ambient Air! When it's time replace the front AC unit, we will definitely be using ANYONE else.
