        Phoenix New Times said "too fancy for Phoenix but damn good." I had a wonderful birthday party here, the love music and brunch (chicken katsu and cinnamon roll) was the perfect mix of salty and sweet.

        Took awhile for our server to greet us. Food was alright, not a huge selection to choose from but the drinks were great. Love the design of the place as well, great esthetic.

      Alter Ego is a ground floor restaurant and bar where every day is about celebrating life and living in the moment. We are eclectic and adventurous yet timeless, and comfortable. We never take ourselves too seriously, yet are always prepared to rise to the occasion. We have an appreciation for the rich history and heritage of Tempe and will look to add a fun twist of flair to make room for new memories for generations to come.
