The pizza itself was very good but expensive and it should have a little more flavor/spices in the sauce but it thankfully had lots of sauce and cheese which is perfect for me.

I noticed this new place in the neighborhood and ordered delivery for the first time. I was really excited to see they had a BLT specialty pizza and ordered it Detroit style. Ordering was fine and it arrived right at the estimated time. As soon as I picked up the box at my door I knew I was going to be unhappy. The box was cold and so was the pizza. Not even warm. I live 3min from the place. Other than being cold the flavor was just okay, nothing special. The description says it has mozzarella cheese, but if it did then it was so little that it didn't feel present, so the main ingredient was shredded lettuce. I ate 2 pieces and threw the rest out, because reheating a lettuce pizza was going to be terrible. Too many places make good pizza to try them again.

Do yourself a favor and make sure this pizza has some time to cool down. The special way that the crisp up the crust and top it with generous mozzarella cheese. The sauce is a leap above any others that I have had. Seems like the space is really made for carry out and delivery. There are only two tables. No matter. If you have not yet experienced the "every slice is a corner" type of pie, then you will find this pizza to be a fine example of a regional favorite. The cookie pizza is a great dessert. Have your milk ready to go!

Hi Nicole, We're really sorry about your recent experience, as we constantly strive to deliver the best possible product. The BLT is a unique pizza in that has a very delicate balance when it comes to the temperature. Unlike any of our other pizza's, the BLT does not go in the hot box after it's made, for the same reason you mentioned. If we put a pizza topped with salad in the hot box, people would be complaining that the lettuce was too warm. I hope this one experience does not deter you from trying one of our other pizza's in the future. I don't think you'll be disappointed a second time.
