I took my 2021 Palisade in for routine service February 1st; arriving 10 minutes ahead of my pre-booked 11:00 o'clock appointment. Upon arrival Chris, my service advisor informed me that they were short staffed today and the car would probably not be ready until 4:30. Having just traveled 25 miles from home, I wondered why they hadn't called me to cancel and rebook my appointment. I believe that the intent of pre-booked appointments is to avoid loosing your car for the whole day for an oil change and inspection. Chris discussed our options of rebooking, but could not promise that the next day would be any better. As the car was due for service based on the mileage interval, I chose to stick it out and leave the car. My wife and I had planned to spend the down time (not 5 hours) at the nearby IKEA store, and asked Chris for walking directions. He referred me to the walking mode on my phone app and off we went on the one mile trek. I wish he had insisted on providing a courtesy shuttle ride. By 4:00 o'clock we had not had an update if the car was ready, so we called for the courtesy shuttle to pick us up at IKEA. We were promptly collected and returned to the dealership to learn the car was ready, not sure how long? Chris was busy with a customer and had another advisor look after me. My overall experience did not live up to expected dealership standards. The advisor did not go over the work order with me, did not discuss the work preformed. There is no indication if checks for outstanding recalls were done? Was a complimentary wash done? The dashboard Oil Change reminder display was not reset. The windshield reminder sticker was not updated for the next due date. We are from out-of-state and are not regular customers at AutoNation Hyundai Tempe. We have had our car serviced at this dealership on two previous occasions that met the expected standards. I wonder if there has been a change in ownership since our 2018 pre-COVID visit. K. Ferguson

Service center and specifically Corbin was extremely helpful in diagnosing our issue and patiently helping explain everything and work through it. Highly recommend their service dept.

Gino is the GM and Greg is his Service Manager. This company made me feel quite the opposite of a value customer. They had my car 3 months but sat their hands. This is the worst service center in Maricopa County. You have to call them to get updates on when your car will be ready. They will give you your car back in worse condition. I would like to request someone from Autonation call me. I need this addressed. I will provide some updates about the horrible experience I endured with Gino & gang. If you want a good experience, don't come here.

My daughter took her 2016 Hyundai with 35,000 miles in for an issue with the air conditioning over 2 weeks ago. She was informed that her automobile would require a new air conditioning compressor. When she bought the car brand new , she had the foresight to purchase the best (platinum?) extended warranty offered at a cost of $1800. When she brought this to the service rep's attention, she was told that they had to contact the warranty company and that they would call her back That was over two weeks ago. It's been totally crickets since that time. Hyundai was totally fine to scarf up the commission on the sale of the car. Sad... My wife was considering looking at their SUV line. It will be a cold day in hell before I will spend any money at the AutoNation Hyundai dealership Service: Air conditioning
