Hownd

I bought a $400 Spavia gift card for my wife. I spent $304.50 as it was a promotion. She had it for almost a year in her email before she decided to use it. Turns out there was a six month expiration on it. I contacted customer service to try to recover some, even half of my losses, or see how they would help out. The rep I talked to online, Matteo, was completely uninterested. He kept referring me to the business I bought the gift card for, Spavia, who informed me businesses dont receive payment from Hownd until a gift card is redeemed. Spavia came out of pocket $99 of their own to comp my wifes massage. Hownd has $304.50 of my money and basically has $99 of Spavias money. Taking a persons money without returning a good or service is stealing. I strongly urge everyone reading NOT TO DO BUSINESS with Hownd. Ive never been treated with such disregard by any company ever. Disgusting. Hownd, reach out and make this right.

Really bad experience with this company. Website crashed as I was purchasing a gc, ended up getting two. Had both payments withdrawn, ok whatever.. I can work with two. But it was almost $400. Money showed back up in my account, and it looks like someone on their end actually cancelled my transaction. Really odd business model.

Love getting unsolicited SMS and calls from HOWND. If you like spam calls and texts please use Hownd, they are really good at it. If you don't, please leave them an appropriate review.
