        It's a bit of a rough and tumble environment. The shelves are usually under stocked or holding no stock. The shelves are seemingly always being restocked and/or reorganized. Irregardless, nothing is actually one dollar anymore. That said, The Dollar Tree typically has a decent selection of items within a wide spectrum of categories. Like an old school 5 & Dime drugstore, but they are $1.25 & Dollar Tree Plus, which is a section offering items in the $3 to $5-ish ranges. Update: Visited the new Family Dollar/Dollar Tree combo in Tempe. Got a few things that were reasonable, but generally speaking, it's overpriced, and the quality isn't there... anywhere... just go to Walmart.
