Lunch specials are very reasonably priced. Offers a good portion for lunch specials. Waitstaff was very polite and on top of service. Atmosphere was nice and relax.

Delicious!!! I had the shrimp enchiladas. Best I've ever had. Service, pricing and food were all great.

Wow this place is busy! And that's a good thing in this case because everybody is coming for the amazing food. The amount of customers frequenting this place fills the parking lot of the mall in which it sits. I live next door and have been blown away by how much traffic this place generates. Don Ruben's is packed from open until close so I would suggest getting reservations to avoid a 20 to 30 minute wait for seating. But once you are seated be prepared for some absolutely fantastic TexMex food. I recommend the green cheese enchiladas. You won't be disappointed.

Went for a friend's 80th birthday. Nothing special about the food, atmosphere or service. Asked to sit outside on a Sunday and was told patio is open only on 'the weekends" - Friday & Saturday. Seated first booth by the door. Every time someone wanted to get out of the booth we had to wait for the flow of guests to pass. Logistics of the seating could have been thought out better. Complimentary chips and salsa were average. The water tasted terrible. Asked to substitute an enchilada for a taco on one of the combination plates and they would not accommodate the request. Food was not bad but certainly nothing to note that would make me want to return. Server didn't speak English. Geez! You're in America. Learn our language. $80/tab for four people.
