All About Breastfeeding

Lori is patient, kind and compassionate. She is a wealth of knowledge and extremely helpful, offering guidance and support in a multitude of different scenarios mothers face. Lori is flexible with her modes of communication and makes herself available whenever she can. She understands the emotional and physical needs of new (and veteran) breastfeeding/pumping moms. I am so grateful to have had her help navigating a very challenging postpartum time.

Lori has helped me so much with breastfeeding! I didnt think about getting my baby checked for lip/tongue ties but after a consultation with Lori, she diagnosed my baby with ties and had multiple referrals of professionals who specialize in ties so I was able to make a choice :) Lori was very informative, helpful and very professional. Lori was literally an answered prayer. Grateful for the work she does and how much of a blessing she has been so far. I could not give a higher recommendation. I suggest everyone who has a baby and has the slightest desire to breastfeed schedule an appointment day one of being home so that Lori can get you on the path to success. Were on baby #2 and will definitely schedule her for any future babies.

Lori is wonderful! She came to my home just a few days after I brought home my baby boy. I was experiencing soreness, and wasn't sure how to get a good latch. I'm also recovering from a significant tear, so finding the right positions for breastfeeding was difficult. I was propping multiple pillows and was overwhelmed with the process. My baby had lost 5oz at the hospital and had lost a few more by the time she arrived. Lori immediately started working with me to simplify my process. She showed me a position where baby could easily rest on my chest and I could lean back and take a lot of the pressure off my stitches. She also showed me what a good latch is supposed to feel like. I teared up feeling so comforted by her kind and insightful presence. When she left, I felt so much more confident, and it was just a matter of continuing to practice what she taught me. Within a week and a half, my baby went from 7lb 5oz to 9lbs! Baby's pediatrician was very happy and surprised by his growth. :) Lori's consultation was a game changer. Thanks Lori!

Lori was an answer to so many prayers! My husband and I were at the end of our rope with breast feeding and were going to give it up to just feed our daughter through the bottle. Calling Lori was our last straw and we are so happy we were gave breast feeding one more try. Lori quickly saw that our daughter had tongue tie and was able to direct us to a place to get it taken care of. She also helped me with positioning so we both were more comfortable when feeding. It was a relief to know that we had really been doing everything we could to help our daughter breast feed. Now we are successfully breastfeeding our daughter everyday. Thank you so much Lori for helping us and being so patient with all of our questions!
