Sun Cities Financial Group

You may be tempted to respond to one of their ads promising high interest rates on "insured and guaranteed accounts."  But, beware!  Once they get you into their office, they will try to convince you to get an annuity instead.  I have to confess that I fell for this trick not once, but twice.  The first annuity I waited until it had matured to cash out, so I did make a little money on it, but much less than if I had put my money in a stock index fund.  The second time I decided to cut my losses and get out early, so I ended up with several hundred dollars less than where I had started three years earlier.  (This was an F&G annuity, and they were particularly bad to deal with.)My bad for not being more careful about what I was getting into, but these people run a classic "bait and switch" operation.  If you do go see them, I recommend you make very clear upfront that you are NOT interested in an annuity.

I have been going to Sun Cities Financial Group since they opened in 1998 investing in CD's and Annuities and my Annuity has paid the most interest of all my accounts. 7.90% last year and 5.58% average since I purchased. I'm glad I found Sun Cites Financial Group and I recommend others to go as well.

They sent a letter saying action is needed on our account within two weeks.  We've been trying to get a hold of them for two days upon getting the letter and no answer.  ( Between 10am and 4pm - their office should be open?) I've called several #s and all go to vm saying I've reached new accounts and they're busy.  I left a message - no return call. If I was a new account potential, you're probably loosing business. The email option on their site is also only for new accounts.  There is no regular " send" button.  The only way to send the message is to request can information packet.  It's not a good way to treat existing clients either.  Where are you guys?  How do I talk to somebody?  I only have a few business days to review my account, options and make a decision. I guess it's on to the Corp office ‍???

My wife and I have invested in multiple investments and now that we are both retired, am enjoying the benefit of of guaranteed income. I have peace of mind that my bemeficiaries will be taken cared of. Friendly staff!
