The love & and care they put into their work to provide for these animals truly deserve its own special kind of merit. My wife and I went through an extremely rough and emotional time when we started our search for our fur baby. We initially wanted to adopt a dog, but soon came to the conclusion that Mr. B (as seen in the pictures) was truly the cat meant for us. We looked and met a lot of different breeds of cats and ultimately fell in love with our little tuxedo boy. He has been an absolute blessing, and we are so thankful to have our cuddly boy in our lives. Thank you once again, Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center for all you do.

Decent shelter but the cat people are excessively picky and don't seem to want to actually adopt out or move the cats that they have, I was asked to repeatedly visit a cat prior to adopting it which did not work with my work schedule instead of being able to just leave with the animal and was told that she was "violent and aggressive" which she was absolutely not - just scared. I genuinely considered just not bothering if I had to make 2-3 visits to "get her used to me" but it ended up not being neccesary. I can appreciate a concern for animal wellbeing but I felt like the cat workers just decided they didn't like me and didn't trust me.
