Jackson Hewitt Tax Service

Completely unprofessional, first of all, when i arrived on time for my appointment, the tax accountant was chit chatting with a lady, and I had to wait several minutes before the conversation was done. I went up to her desk, and the accountant would not acknowledge me, so I went ahead and let her know I was there for my scheduled appointment. It took her another couple minutes to let me know she was ready to proceed. She did not introduce herself, did not act like she wanted to be there, and was very lear she was looking for any reason to not help me so she can maybe take a break. She asked I had my social security card, i explained that my house was burned down, and that i was having a difficult time getting a replacement. She asked if i had anything with my social security number she could use to verify my info, i showed her my W2 that has it printed on the form, and handed ger my state ID. She then changed that from being acceptable to needing the physical card. She also told me before she changed her policy, that if i went to the social security office in town that i could get a replacement, and that she would only need my receipt with the verification on it to proceed. She kept saying she could start my return but needs my social security card, i told her i wanted to get it started and i could get my social security card and bring it in to finish, she then said she can't start without my card, she was very wishy washy, very unprofessional, acted like she had never communicated or been remotely social or even acted as if she wanted to be there, she obviously hates the world and has no idea what she needs or what she is even saying. Please hire better employees to fill this position, i would guess she has no clue what shes doing, except she has figured put a way to vet paid and not actually work.

Guy was rude, he wouldn't let me 4 yr old use the bathroom, I showed up late due to my doctor's appointment running late and he marked me as I didn't show up, I've been a Jackson Hewitt client for many many yrs and never been denied to file for early tax refund but he said he couldn't do mine.

Tax preparer was very professional, friendly and knows her job well The place was neat and clean also. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Got my taxes done, no hassel, they even advised me to get my withholding fixed for a better return next year. Very helpful!
