Shorebird Sedona

Its too bad the food here doesnt really measure up to the location and views. Its a nice looking restaurant, but the food is lacking and the menu comes across disjointed. The sushi has been very much lacking in flavor or creativity. Normally I dont comment on service because everyone has their days, but it just seemed like nobody wanted to be there.

Such a delicious brunch! And an amazing view! We got here right when it opened so it was pretty empty. Service was great, drinks were delicious, & the food did not disappoint. Some of our favorite breakfast potatoes. We will definitely return when back in the area!

Went with my wife and had drinks and the tuna egg roll for an appetizer, then she had the sea bass and I had a Balboa roll for our meals. The egg roll came out super quick, so I was impressed with their efficiency. About 5 minutes later we got our drinks (wine and beer, nothing complicated). We saw some people who came in after us get their dinners before we got ours, which surprised us. Then they came with my wife's dinner, but not my roll. It was a good 5-10 minutes before I did get my roll, and they never even came by to let me know what was taking so long! In the end, the food tasted great (although I did have to remove a piece of plastic wrap from my roll), and the views were spectacular. All the restaurants are hurting for staff, and it looked like everyone here was very busy, but it would have been nice if things were a little more coordinated. Overall, I would go back, though, since everything had good flavor and nice presentation once we got it.
