I LOVE THIS PLACE! My husband and I are anti-bed and breakfast usually, but the views sold us on this place. And I was wrong... it is FANTASTIC to stay at a B & B... if it's this one! Strawberry Cactus room has insane views. Looking to book again, which is what led me to write this review.

Canyon Villa Inn is absolutely fabulous! It checked all of our boxes. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast and afternoon appetizers are delicious and varied each day. The inn and views are stunning. The rooms and grounds are very clean and well maintained. We stayed in the Manzanita Room. It is very spacious and comfortable. The balcony and views from the room are gorgeous; beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Very peaceful and quiet. The pool looks amazing. However, we stayed the beginning of March so it was too cool to swim. The patio fireplace is great on cool evenings. The stars are brilliant at night as it is a dark sky community. The location is close to all attractions; wineries, shopping, hiking, numerous restaurants. We will definitely return. I highly recommend!

We spend a short week/weekend here. It is easy to find as it is located off Bell Rock Blvd in the Village of Oak Creek. Nice quiet location and just outside Sedona so you miss all that chaos. There are also plenty of great restaurants in the area. For coffee, go to Oak Creek Espresso.
Easy drivesl to any of the local Red Rock Parks and trails. In fact, a short walk from here is the Slim Shady Trail. Just be careful of the coyotes at night (about 11 PM). If you want to go to some National Parks, they are less than a day ride to them. We went to 6 in total while we where their (3 south and 3 in Flagstaff).
Room was large enough for us and we had a stunning view of Bell Rock from our balcony. Plenty of space in the bathroom and the toilet was seperate from the bath. Have all the stuff you would expect and a small fridge for drinks and snacks you can get from Clarks Markets.
Breakfast is delicious and they will cook you most anything you like as there is no set menu. Sit down, grab a coffee and relax. Speaking of relaxing, there is plenty of space to chill out in the living room and side library. There are snacks at 4pm if around to tide you over before dinner out.
It was Winter, so we didn't go swimming. But if we wanted to, it was ready for us. The outside area was large with plenty of space to spend a lazy afternoon. Around the side is a hidden garden-ish place to sit and read a book.
Staff was wonderful and very approachable. Was more like being with friends while we stayed here than owners of the place. They provided us with some local ideas for things to do and where to eat. We hope to stay here again when we come back to Sedona.
Nearby activities: Right near trails and the Red Rock Parks. Short day drive to National Parks and Flagstaff.
Safety: Main door has a key code and plenty of lighting at night aroud the house. We never felt unsafe while here.
Walkability: Slim Shady Trail is just up the hill to walk off your breakfast.
Food & drinks: Village of Oak Creek has plenty of eateries and places to get a drink. Sedona is also a short drive up 179 with even more.
