In my experience I found her not to have the level of knowledge and expertise expected.  Suspect either poor listening or poor comprehension skills as she researches and answers questions not asked, while failing to respond to those actually asked then charges both meeting time and research time.Initially found her to be basically competent in elementary tax matters (ie turbo tax or other software might do just as well) but would suggest seeking expertise elsewhere if your situation has any degree of complexity or variance to vanilla 1040.

My wife and I visited Robyn about a month ago and got solid, no nonsense tax advice from a very knowledgeable CPA.  If you have ANY questions about Federal or State taxes, Robyn is the CPA you should be going to.  Not only is she knowledgeable, but she's willing to take the time to help you understand the advantages of various parts of the tax code.  (She actually thinks taxes are kinda fun! How weird is that?)I'll definitely be using her as a counselor to my family and small business in the future.

Find a different CPA and save yourself a lot of stress.  I've been using Robyn for a few years, and she appeared basically competent.  Hardly communicated with us but seemed to do a decent job.  The past couple years, the communication has gotten worse.  This past year, she stopped responding to emails.  I sent her our tax information and she completely ignored the communications.  I had to email and text repeatedly to see if she would have the taxes done on time.  I sent her everything in March, she rolled past the initial April 15 deadline, and I had to nag her repeatedly to have them filed on the extended deadline.  I  believe her analysis this year was entirely off, as she only did last minute and rushed work and failed to communicate with us or respond to my concerns.  I lost sleep worrying about tax penalties due to late returns based on her delay and failure to respond.  In the end, we filed everything at the last minute possible.  I'm sure I'll discover problems as we move forward with a new CPA.  Oh, and she's still billing us a ton for this year, despite acknowledging her poor communications and delay.
