Schulte Institute

Saw dr Schulte years ago (2008-09) when I was pregnant with my twins. He told me I should abort them and keep an aspirin between my knees to keep from getting pregnant again. There was never a question of whether I wanted to keep my pregnancy or not.. For him to say I should abort my very wanted twins was just so disgusting and wrong. Pretty sure my jaw hit the floor. I obviously had my twins and am glad I didnt listen to this misogynistic quack, who btw never was able to correctly diagnose me and didnt help me at ALL but was very eager to take my money. All these years later I still remember that. It still disgusts me and still makes me mad. Dr Schulte should NOT be allowed around women or children. Period!

I struggled for many years with depression and anxiety. I struggled with heavy-handed approaches and over-prescribed medications. My journey with Dr. S started with my mind, with learning how to create proper thought processes to fight the decades of negative thinking that I put myself through. Proper though processes and medication turned into healthy habits, and healthy habits turned into now 3+ years of genuine appreciation for the life that I have always had. Dr Schulte is worth every penny! He's kind, friendly and very good at what he does! His staff is amazing, especially Toni! The Schulte Institute has been the first psychiatric practice that I've felt truly cares!

I was referred to Dr Shulte by a friend. I have been in his care for several years. Let me add that I have medication resistant depression and in the past 30 years have tried many medications for the treatment of my depression. Dr Shulte is the first doctor to truly listen to how my depression/anxiety impacts my quality of life. He is direct with his input and makes suggestions on how I can effect positive changes in my life. With his knowledge and experience he is able to think outside the box and try some medications that were not initially intended for treatment of depression. Thankfully, We have found a combination of medications that are working well.
