The Nicholls Group

Dr Nicholls is not mentally fit, he should no longer be practicing. My family was in crisis, and Dr Nichols was given full details of our need, he accepted us as new patients. Dr Nicholls was careless and negligent in providing any care whatsoever. After the initial "intake" (bogus appointment of no substance) they postponed testing until the crisis escalated. They saw us a second time, cutting the testing short, to reschedule for over a month later. I complained to the receptionist about the time frame and Dr Nicholls walked right past me not caring to ask about my complaint. When I called he showed no interest in the health of my child. Be cautious at the young interns who appear compassionate, they are a front for a "doctor" who is checked out. I can only guess that Dr Nicholls retired mentally a long time ago. Proceed with caution if you actually need help like I did.

Excellent psych evaluation services from Dr. Hoffman - helping young individuals with autism. Quick response time with thorough, detailed, and organized documentation. No judgmental attitudes or weird stuff going on here. She is very professional, super responsive, and pragmatic. Worth every penny.

I was seriously exhausted looking for a place to get testing and a diagnosis 2 of my children and especially during COVID, it has been even more difficult with all of the different things offices are doing or not doing right now. I found another Dr.'s office for my oldest and they referred me to The Nicholls Group for my daughter and I could not be happier with my experience there. From start to finish, they made this process as smooth and effortless as possible. The office staff was organized and on top of everything, they did exactly what they said they were going to do (which is so hard to find these days) and my experience with Dr. Hoffman was nothing short of perfection as well. My daughter (who is 6) worked with Dr. Valerie Hoffman and we both adored her. I only wish we lived closer so we could work with her on a regular basis for therapy. Dr. Hoffman was extremely thorough with her testing, an absolute delight to work with, her feedback appointment was thorough and after just having read through her report she really did an amazing job. Mental health is hard, it's exhausting for those who struggle with it and for their caretakers. I found the process of trying to find an office for testing exhausting, but thanks to the referral to the Nicholls Group, I am truly so so thankful to have found them. Couldn't speak any higher of my experience with this office, thank you Dr. Hoffman and The Nicholls Group!

I brought both of my children here to get testing. My son autism testing after getting an at risk diagnosis a year ago and my daughter to see if she still qualifies for autism and to get her IQ testing. I really enjoyed working with The Nicholls Group and as a parent and a professional who works in the field of autism I felt like my kids were in great hands. I loved the timeliness they got us in and I will continue to refer families here.
