The number one thing to say about Dr. Lisa is her level of professionalism has been exemplary. She has never failed to maintain professional boundaries with me, and yet she is about to communicate in a genuinely real and compassionate manner. She comes across as being unbiased and highly competent. I think what differentiates her from Psychologist I have seen in other states is her attention to presenting prevailing research/literature to back up what she says. I am skeptical by nature, so this is huge for me! Despite her advanced knowledge, Dr. Lisa demonstrates a level of humility that is not a characteristic I have witnessed in many professionals who have been working in their field for 20+ years. Her commitment to growing her knowledge base is admirable. I deeply appreciate how proactive Dr. Lisa has been about helping me achieve my mental health goals. Let me tell you, I think this world would be a much better place if everyone could have someone like Dr. Lisa in their life!

After experiencing PTSD from a major medical event, I was lost. I was referred to Lisa, the best thing that has happened to me in the last two years since the event. Through EMDR and talk therapy, she has helped me deal with my emotions. My experience with her has been life altering. I highly suggest Lisa as a therapist!

I have had the opportunity to collaborate with Lisa and her knowledge and skills as a DBT clinician have been invaluable to me and the clients she works with. She pursues continuing education in the field, is up to date on all current and emerging practices. She individualizes treatment to each of her clients and their needs. Her extensive experience and dedication to her practice is an asset to her clients that is apparent as soon as you meet her.

I have had the distinct priviledge of sharing office space with Dr. Lisa Galper for over a full year now and I have seen her in many different lights. The true testimant for a person I believe is that they are consistent, genuine and real. Lisa has all three hands down. Her intuition and insights are solid. She works hard, is dedicated and is the hardest working psychologist on the block. She truly gets eating disorders and is a true asset to her field.
