NEWPORT AT RODEO- DANILLE BEAUDRY.. if you ever encounter her RUNNNN. Not only does she move in people to the apartments who are on house arrest WITH DRUG felonies and gets them on a section 8 unit so they don't have to pay rent, she's also very rude. She denied my application over my sisters who does not have good criminal back ground and does nothing to better herself, transports drugs and illegals. I have a job and no criminal charges. When she told me I was denied I asked why, she was soooo rude to me and ended up saying she was too busy to explain, for me to know I just wasn't approved.

I moved in Oct. 2023 and have come to call it home. Wonderful quiet and friendly place to live.

Do not rent from this property. They are slum lords. They rented me an apartment that was infested with black mold. It grew on everything plastic and the walls and would not come off. They lied to the judge and said it was from me burning candles. Which i rarely ever do lol. There were multiple other units that said they have same problem. I fainted in the home and was rush to hospital twice from being in that apartment. It made me very sick and they took me to court for eviction. They refused to fix or even test the unit for mold. They tried to have me pay out of pocket to test the unit. They did not care about me and my daughters health at all. Did not offer any help. Just disgusting people and company. Becareful renting from them.

I would leave zero stars if that was an option. I lived at my previous apartment for five years. Never had any issues until the last six months of living there when a supervisor from Kay-Kay ran out the office staff and took control. She was rude and very power driven. I never felt so uncomfortable living there until that point. I was wrongly served a five day notice and charged a legal fee even after addressing it and being told I had nothing to worry about. I also recieved a email that was unprofessional and misleading. It felt like I was under a microscope. I no longer felt like I was home and in fact it was like I was being pushed to leave. When I did in fact move, I was wrongly charged a fee for pest control and their reasoning was BED BUGS! I did not and do not have bed bugs. When I disputed the charge, I was reimbursed as they had no statement saying my apartment was the cause. I would stay away from this company as a tenant and owner. They do not care for individuals that house with them. If you want a place that feels like home, as it should, look elsewhere.
