Dr. Theodore P. Firestone, MD

When I was looking for a knee surgeon, I chose Dr. Firestone. Why? I know there are risks with surgery. If there were complications, I wanted an experienced surgeon who could help me get to the best outcome possible. When a failed knee replacement became my reality, I trusted Dr. Firestone would help me. Instead, Dr. Firestone failed me. I suffered from day one after my knee replacement surgery. I could not bend my knee. Dr. Firestone insisted the knee was perfect and told me he was tired of hearing I was not happy. The pandemic slowed things down but I managed to see a few surgeons. They all diagnosed a failed knee replacement. A few months ago, I had a much-needed knee revision surgery. Today, I am no longer crippled: I can finally walk without a significant limp; I can bike and hike again. I still reflect on my initial decision to choose Dr. Firestone based primarily on his experience. I have come to realize the best surgeons also possess empathy, compassion, and integrity. These are qualities I did not see in Dr. Firestone.

Dr Firestone replaced my left him in 1996. It was successful and i am still using it in 2023! Thank you !

I was told Ted  is retiring and not doing surgeries.  Ted did my knee replacement 10+ years ago.  Although it went well he left my kneecap in and now it is severely arthritic and in need of a revision to fix the kneecap.  I was told Shane Martin was taking over his practice.  Ted maybe you should see how his is treating your former patients.Avoid him at all costs.  Because money is apparently his primary patient.

I was fortunate to have Dr. Firestone replace both knees at same time 2 years ago. Great results, no pain, I was 72 years old. Thanks to Dr. Firestone and his crew I had great results, I researched replacement surgery thoroughly and am fortunate he accepted me as a patient. For the results he was very INEXPENSIVE. Did what he said he would.Thanks doesn't seem enough. Highly recommend, you can feel confident just do what he says. He will tell you the way it is. Know he is one of the best if not the best.
