From the first phone consultation with Dr Martin to the post surgery appointment, I felt personally reassured that I was in good hands. All the staff are friendly, professional and kind, which helped to relieve any anxiety I might have had. Upon returning to Canada, I have been impressed with the continued after care communications. Highly recommend the surgeon, the robotic surgery and the entire team at the clinic.

My experience was great with the Joint Replacement Center of Scottsdale. The staff was very professional and kind. The office was beautiful and clean. Doctor Shane was very knowledgeable and I felt very welcomed. He explained everything to me as we reviewed my X-rays. He showed me my X-rays and went through those explaining what he found. I couldn't have been more pleased with the care I received there. I definitely will return for follow-up visits and keep Doctor Shane as my orthopedic physician.

Front office, back office and surgical center lack compassion, professionalism, and knowledge regarding the care and communicate for patients preparing for surgery. Dr. Martin (a bit too full of himself in my opinion) didnt take the time to diagnose my arthritic knee. MRI reports were provided stating more damage than what he diagnosed (partial knee replacement) using his x-rays alone. Lastly, minimized post-op recovery leaving me with false expectations: I didnt need PT and should be playing golf within 3 weeks. (I dont even play golf!) I recently had two other surgeons opinion. Both reporting the same diagnosis with reference to my MRI. I need a total knee replacement. Im so glad after numerous red flags, within a two week period leading up to my surgery date, I had the common sense to cancel my surgery!

I received Dr Martin's name from a friend that had his hip replacement done by him. We knew after having a consult with him that he was the guy to do my hip revision. My right leg was 1.6" shorter than my left leg as the previous stem had worked down my femor. Dr Martin discussed all the scenarios with us prior to surgery. Needless to say the surgery was successful and my recovery has been great. I would recommend Dr Martin and the staff to anyone. Everyone from nurse practioner to reception were exceptionally friendly, caring and helpful. The surgical centre personnel were also equally fabulous.
