Theres not enough good I can say about Dr. Vogel and her team. From the initial consultations, it was clear she knew exactly what she was looking at and talking about. I have a major phobia of anesthesia and surgery in general, but the team surrounding her totally erased my fears, from the friendly faces in the lobby to the understanding staff they had in pre-op. They made a major surgery feel like a minor inconvenience.

I Just had a hip labrum repair surgery 5 weeks ago and am 61. (i had had apx 10 yrs of pain in my left hip b4 finally getting it diagnosed correctly) Granted i trained and eat clean to prep for an invasive surgery which requires shaving the hip bone and the socket which i was prepared for a lot of pain. Not only did I barely have any pain since day of surgery, ive had zero pain since day two and never had to take a pain pill since night of surgery I am so grateful and appreciative. All the pain i had prior to surgery is GONE. My scares next to nothing, just look like red patches and i feel like my old self. She did a wonderful job and her assistant Michael is over the top in his professionalism and organizational skills. So great to work with!

It is important to me to trust the Drs that I choose to help care for my medical needs. I read reviews regarding Dr Vogel before having surgery to get an idea of what kind of Dr she would be. Normally I ignore the one or two bad reviews when the overwhelming response of something is excellent. This was the case with Dr Vogel. The couple (disgruntled?) patients that left bad reviews did not sway my decision to choose Dr Vogel to take care of my surgery. Their reviews almost seem to have been clerical errors after meeting Dr Vogel and her staff. They could not be more wrong. My overall experience was excellent. Dr. Vogel spent time with me to insure that I fully understood what my options were, the potential risks and what life after surgery would look like. She spent amble amount of time answering my questions. I was very comfortable with making the decision to have surgery after our conversation. Then her surgery scheduler was very communicative with what the scheduling process would look like. He made himself available to me for any questions I had and responded very promptly. Even by text message which I love since I am a busy person and phone calls arent always possible for me. The staff at banner surgery center camelback were also very helpful. They were kind and prompt and thankfully they made sure I woke up from my forced (but appreciated) medical nap. Overall my experience was great. Im back to enjoying my life with my little kids without any pain. My wife was so impressed with the trust care provided that she will also be having a major two part surgery with Dr Vogel in the near future. Thank you Dr Vogel and staff! Dr. Vogel is hand over fist THE best doctor / surgeon I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient of, and let me tell you I have had my fair share. The surgery that I need to get is a surgery that only her and one other doctor in the state of Arizona perform, which was very nerve racking at first. However, she went over every intimate detail of the surgery with me, and not just once, but multiple times. She made me feel extremely comfortable. I don't feel like just another patient. I am her patient, and her main prerogative is to ensure that her patients get the help that they need. There were many things that I had to do in order to even be placed on the schedule for my surgery, but not once did I feel pressured to do them. They were all things that were for the betterment of my own health. I have lost 50 lbs. since 10/31/22 in order to get this surgery, and all of the hard work was well worth it. Thank you Dr. Vogel for being kind, caring, invested and overly qualified.

It's rare that I meet someone on Dr. Vogel's side of the scalpel that lives a life that matches many of the patients she sees. Why is this important? Empathy and expectation management. She has a comprehensive understanding of performance and the desired outcomes for her patients. Where so many of her peers are quick to recommend surgery, Dr Vogel is NOT quick to operate when an operation will not move the needle for a prospective patient. She is willing to help explore potential alternatives prior to a procedure. It is reassuring to know that when you are on her table, Dr. Vogel has your best interest in mind.
