    Dim lit seating area with live band and Great appetizers. The off menu squid ink infused linguini with clams,mussels, and lobster was the best pasta dish I've ever eaten! Well worth the money

    TERRIBLY OVERPRICED BLAND food, and OFFENSIVE dress code policy. Not at all worth the ridiculous amount of money. I ordered the Paccatelli and had to SEARCH for the sausage on the plate. The "special spread" for the bread tasted like flavorless colored hummus. My husband wanted a nice red-sauced dish to complement the EXPENSIVE bottle of Chianti we bought, but when we started to read the confusing menu, the server then tells us there are minimal red-sauce options. Really?? An Italian restaurant??? To top it all off, they did not even OFFER to comp our meal, despite only having 2 bites of our entrees. Oh, and ladies, don't wear a stylish hat unless you're comfortable being told to take it off because it's disrespectful to the owner's religious background. I have alopecia (hair loss), and hats are a great way to hide the problem. I had to excuse myself to the restroom and re-style my hair to mask the alopecia. How embarrassing! THANKFULLY, I was dining with family and not business associates. What a RIDICULOUS policy. I've had better service at McDonald's! Customers come to this RISTORANTE and pay TOP DOLLAR for subpar food. The very LEAST they can do is make their guests feel comfortable and welcome. If HATS are offensive to the owner, he has no business in the service industry. Having read the dozens of negative reviews, this is not an isolated incident. I am shocked this RISTORANTE has lasted as long as it has.

    We have visited here twice now, and the first experience was incredible. Stellar food, service, drinks loved it all, and have consistently told people how much we enjoyed it. Went our second time this evening for our second anniversary, and have to say was very disappointed overall. Started off well, we arrived a bit early for our reservation so we had a drink at the bar while we waited, and the bartender brought us glasses of prosecco for our anniversary which was a thoughtful touch. Once we were seated things went downhill. I had to ask twice for bread for our table which ended up coming the same time as my husband's meal. MY meal was twenty minutes AFTER his. (and I did check my clock on my phone to time it) He finally had to sit and eat without me so it wouldn't go cold. Waiter finally came by and said he inadvertently put mine in as a second course which honestly sounds like an excuse for he simply forgot. I ordered the veal chop special of the night which was $75. It was supposed to be cooked medium, but was much closer medium rare or almost rare, which I assume iscbecause they were rushing it after forgetting to put it in for twenty minutes. Also, I understand it's a fattier cut of meat; however, it seemed to have more than it's share of fat,and was disappointed in the dish itself. The waiter did offer us a free lemoncello they make in house (which we declined) but considering my meal was $75, it really isn't much of an apology offering. He did bring us a few biscotti cookies after and did apologize again, but the sincerity in the tone quite simply wasn't there; it felt artificial and by that point I was just ready to leave. Was our experience terrible? No, but it was certainly not up to the standards we expect from a higher end restaurant we are dropping a couple hundred dollars on between drinks and meals. I really hope perhaps it was simply an off night. Compliments to the bartenders they were very pleasant and the higher point of the evening. Our first experience was five stars, second was three, at best, so am being generous and splitting the difference at four stars. We couldn't wait to go back, but now we may stop and think before we do so again soon.

Madame, our beloved restaurant was born of love 21 years ago and continues to thrive with our esteemed clientele throughout all those years. It was so unfortunate the young lady in your party, who's birthday celebration it was, ran to the bathroom crying because of you and your husband's rudeness to our service staff. Your server, Jennifer is the consummate professional and tried her very best to create a joyous experience filled with kindness and Chef Marcellino's award winning cuisine for your party. How unfortunate my assistant, Bettina found the birthday girl running to the restroom crying due to your behavior. Bettina offered her a glass of prosecco for her birthday and spoke with words of kindness to calm her on her special day. I'm sorry, but your review is offensive to us.

Dear Kristi, We're quite upset about your disappointment on your second visit with us. I've personally tried to call you to discuss as this is not the experience we wish you to walk away from. I haven't been able to reach you though.Your server did make an error, which he apologized for and as while we try our best to prevent them, mistakes can happen in any walk of life. I was not made aware of the situation that evening and would have liked to have address everything with you at that time. Noted, you had dined with us prior and had a wonderful experience so we're terribly disappointed the repeat visit didn't live up to expectations.
