In response to Brittany, We are sincerely sorry that she had an unpleasant experience because of a situation that is out of Indra’s control (outside agency and custom jeweler, who didn’t keep his promises to deliver on promised date).However, it was difficult for us to work with a person who is not understanding of the perspective, coming from the other side.When we received her ring on the day she brought it in our office, she initially requested to find a similar or equivalent ring to the one she currently has. The impression that Indra got was that she wanted the ring back with her, IMMEDIATELY. Indra would have taken a different approach of separating the ring and band, returned her the diamond ring and sent the band to the custom jeweler and the promise within less than 2 weeks could have been kept.Initially, she was happy with finding similar options to her current ring. As an effort to find a ring suitable to her request, Indra also wanted to help reduce the cost of purchases to help Brittany, by finding equivalent bands from other suppliers and manufacturers.. However, after Indra presented the samples and pictures of those options through text messages, Brittany changed her request and insisted on a ring that is exactly the same to her current ring. After her updated request, Indra had contacted a custom jeweler and sent him the measurements of the ring because the band and ring were soldered together. During the regular season, the custom jeweler generally takes 7-10 days to finish the custom jewelry. However, with the Christmas rush, he got busier and gave Indra the promises of when the ring could be ready and shipped. This is completely out of Indra’s control as he was promising Brittany the timing that it could be ready for her, based on an outside agency. Indra had informed Brittany of the updates and promises, coming from the custom jeweler, who was customizing the ring for her. Please also understand that Indra had many times insisted the custom jeweler send the custom jewelry as soon as possible and had to force him to send the item eventually near Christmas. When the ring arrived, Indra had contacted Brittany as soon as possible and informed her that he had the shipment and that it was ready for pick up. Brittany changed her decision and insisted that she no longer wants the jewelry. We are sincerely sorry and have apologized several times, especially every time that the custom jeweler was not able to deliver his promises. However, we hope that Brittany can be more understanding. How soon or late the item arrived was completely out of our control. We can only promise her when the ring would be delivered based on the promises and updates given by the custom jeweler, an outside agency. We have done everything we can to get the shipment to Brittany as soon as possible. However, with Christmas season being around, shipments and inventory can have longer delay effects. Once again, we sincerely apologize to Brittany for the experience she had and hope that she can be more understanding for us and other jewelers in the industry.
