Surprisingly large and well- appointed rooms. Right beside airport and in a very quiet area aside from that. Walking distance to some nice shopping areas with good restaurants.

When we first arrived to check in, we heard the loud airplane noise and were a bit reluctant but you get used to it and the noise dies down in the evening and is hardly noticeable in the room. The suite was very clean and comfortable! Microwave, mini fridge and coffeemaker with a sink makes for a little kitchen area. There is a door seperating the living area from the bedroom which was nice. The pool area/hot tub was very clean and nice. The dining room where they have the free breakfast is well maintained and clean. Breakfast choices while we were there the 4 days varied each day with scrambled cheesy eggs, French toast sticks, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, bacon, sausage, cereals, muffins, bread, English muffins, fruit, juices, coffee and a few other items. Everything tasted great. The problem was things weren't hot. Otherwise wonderful choices. Fresh cookies in the lobby as well as a filtered water machine and coffee machine offering many choices. Overall it was a wonderful stay for us and we would definitely return when visiting Scottsdale/Phoenix.

As both of us are patients at Mayo Clinic, this hotel is our "go-to" place every time. The location is great as well as the facility. The suite layout is wonderful - I'm an early riser and my wife a late sleeper so we each have a comfortable place to relax. This trip she was sleeping late while a group of young boys, perhaps a visiting athletic team, were swimming very early, shouting loudly - yet my wife never heard a sound. In addition, the staff is always helpful, friendly.
Rooms: Suite style so room to relax and/or sleep-in with quiet and privacy.
Safety: Have stayed here numerous times, walking our dog at all hours, feel very safe. Have never seen anything in the neighborhood to contradict that point of view.
Noteworthy details: Hotel is directly adjacent to Scottsdale Airport, where numerous business jets fly out and in. Though noisy, especially on take-off, in the numerous times staying here, I've never heard the noise from inside the rooms.
