HonorHealth Greenbaum Surgical Specialty Hospital

My wife had a pretty extensive surgery here last week and we were both very happy with the facility. She had some complications and had to be transferred to the Scottsdale Osborn hospital next door but that had nothing to do with the Greenbaum surgery center. The lobby/waiting area was pleasant and they had vending machines for snacks. Her room was a good size and I was allowed to stay in there with her. Overall a very good facility I would recommend.

Easy and kind check-in. Courteous and prompt nurses during outpatient procedure. Overall an outstanding experience!

Walk through the door and the lady doing the whole put on a mask and taking temperatures was coughing the whole time. Not just a cough a BAD cough to the point she had to excuse herself. Patents don't need to see that. Especially when they have to take a covid test even the ones with the vaccine. Totally unprofessional for a health care system that is wrapped up in the whole pandemic CDC guidelines.

I had surgery here a number of years back. Surgery went well, but in recovery while I was waking up, I became extremely nauseous, hot, and disoriented. Coming out of anesthesia, I was extremely groggy and uncomfortable. The nurse kept giving me fentanyl and immediately after each dose, I had hot flashes and became dizzy. In my hazy recovery, I told the nurse to stop, but she did not listen to me and kept giving me doses that only exacerbated my symptoms. The staff then began to rush me out of the surgery center before I was stable. As the nurse was literally rushing me out in a wheel chair, I vomited and could hardly sit up in the chair. They still wheeled me out of the surgery center and sent me home before I was stable. In all, would never return to this surgery center.

Worse experience in my life. 4 surgeries in 2 yrs, different facilities and every one had horrible post op errors. NeverAgainHonorHealth
