It is a ok place if you need help. Staff is understanding and very helpful. Nearby activities: Tempe town lake. Shopping at the outlets. Walkability: You can walk to the local bar . Food & drinks: Hotel Bixby has a vending machine. Circle k is walkable.

I got pulled over leaving the hotel by Scottdale police they told me it a high crime area and they called the dog in to smell around my car I felt so violated I'll never spend a penny in Scottdale az again Rooms: Are up scale and spotless Safety: According to the Scottdale police it's a high crime area

I just recently took a job in Phoenix at the last minute and on initial review found the Bixby. Much to my delight it was a great venue. The rooms are large the beds are comfortable. They have a pool, and the staff was absolutely friendly and available when apparently I place my key card next to my other cards and it deactivated but with only one call on off hours and I was able to get my keys restored within 10 minutes. I would recommend the Bixby to anyone who is in need of a good comfortable stay in a safe area. Just minutes from downtown Scottsdale. Thank you again Julie and the entire team at the Bixby Hotel! Food & drinks: There are great restaurants within walking distance and better yet there is a wonderful little caf next-door for coffee and cakes.
