I work in the area and I was interested in some information about an apartment there. I went in on my lunch break and inquired and was told no vacancy. Not until October. But the sign on the road said now leasing. By the way I am an African American. So I called and asked again and he said no once again. Also I reminded him that their was a sign saying otherwise. He replied and I quote "Oh we must have forgotten to take it down". I am positive that I was racially profiled. He actually referred me to another place. I plan on going to the Better Business Bureau. This is very sad. I hate racism. And I try to live a decent life but there is always those that let you know that it is still going strong.
